For many of us, reading is an escape to another world, a place to hide from the problems and noise. A good book stirs your imagination and sparks curiosity. It inspires you to think, helps communicate with others, and broadens your mind. Imagine being stuck at home during pandemic without this lifeline.
For many children and young adults - that was a reality during the lockdown, illiteracy is still a huge problem, especially in disadvantaged communities. To help combat it, I teamed up with the World Literacy Foundation and Luke Arnold Fan Page to create the limited collection of stunning bookmarks, depicting beloved characters from the hit show Black Sails.
Each bookmark has a portrait of a character on the front, beautifully drawn by Isabel Morcillo Ruiz (Instagram, Twitter), and one of their most notable quotes at the back. Our bookmarks are printed on high-quality 300gsm silk paper with matt finish to ensure the quality of print and durability.
